《Dance In The Dark》为改版EP专辑《The Fame Monster》中的一首单曲。这首歌原本将作为《The Fame Monster》的第三主打单曲发行，但是由于GaGa钟情与强烈要求为《Alejandro》，所以《Dance In The Dark》变为第四主打单曲；但是后来因为销量饱和，加上新专辑《Born This Way》正在制作，最终放弃了发行这支单曲，十分可惜。最终《Dance in the Dark》只作为数位下载和电台单曲发布。这首歌讲述了一个女孩在与男朋友做爱时，对自己的身体感到尴尬与自卑的故事。注：《Dance In The Dark》没有官方MV，目前网上的都是粉丝制作的版本，GaGa没有拍过这个MV！
受启发于Gaga的"Fear of Self Monster"，这首歌描写了卧室里面两个独处之人的亲密关系。据Gaga，这首歌表现了一个女孩因为对自己身体的尴尬、不自信而只愿在关灯之后做爱。她说自己在MAC AIDS Fund的工作中碰到过这样的女孩。这首歌曲不是关于自由，而是关于Gaga自己对于她们的感同身受。
